Royal Ramz is a rookie team from Del Rio, Texas. We are all *new* to FIRST Robotics. We are made up of 7th and 8th graders. Our team name comes from our school mascots. In Del Rio, we have the Queens and the Rams.  We decided to blend the two and call ourselves the Royal Ramz.

A unique thing about us is that over the past few months of robotics we have learned a lot about each other.  We learned about our similarities and differences, our strengths and weaknesses, how to work as a team,  and how to have fun together.  

We are RAM JAMZ #22541! We are a rookie team from Del Rio, TX. We are made up of 7th and 8th grade students. Some of us have a robotics background (FIRST Lego League in elementary school) and some of us do not. The FIRST Tech Challenge style of building, programming, and challenges are new to us all. 

Our team, as well as our sister team, ROYAL RAMZ #22540, was started kind of “late in the game”. Our coaches worked hard to get our teams going when the school year started. In fact, we unfortunately had to miss our first league meet because our FTC kit didn’t arrive until the week of the first league meet. Although we started a bit behind compared to other teams, we aren’t letting it get us down. We are learning so much and having fun!
